Bring an idea. Leave with a board that works.
- Weeks 1–7 — design and review. You draw the schematic and the layout, reviewed at every step, while the firmware runs in parallel on a development kit so software is never waiting on copper.
- End of week 7 — the board is ordered. A real fabrication order with your name on it. The deadline is the point: it is what turns a design exercise into a board.
- Week 8 — fabrication and the test plan. While the boards are being made, you write down how you will know the board works, before you have one in your hand to fool you.
- Weeks 9–12 — assembly, bring-up, integration, demo day. Assemble it, power it up carefully, find what is wrong with it, fix what can be fixed, and show it working.
Who it is for
Working engineers who can already write embedded C and now want to design the board it runs on.
People with a device idea who would rather learn to build the first version themselves than pay someone else to.
Who it is not for
Anyone who wants a certificate, a placement, or to watch someone else build a board.
